Counselling and Psychotherapy
Farsophone Counselling Service is piloted in partnership with NHS Barnet at Edgware Community Hospital. It is designed to offer an integrative counselling and psychotherapy service to FARSI (PERSIAN) SPEAKING individuals, families, couples, children and young people. Qualified practitioners and advanced trainees will provide Counselling and Psychotherapy within BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice and will be supervised by experienced qualified supervisors. Referrals are accepted from individuals and through medical professionals and statutory and voluntary agencies by completing the referral form provided by the Counselling Service. The Counselling Manager will carry out a detailed psychological assessment, and where appropriate, counselling or psychotherapy will then be offered for a specific period, 12 to 24 sessions subject to review.
